Broad Occurrence On Beaches

The magenta-hued slime was found on a stretch of a southern bay about 60 kilometers south of the city. A comparable ooze has also been recorded on parts of Little Roaring Beach and a separate bay.

An environmental foundation has documented dead octopus and dead sea cucumbers appearing on the coast, with a prominent conservationist calling the situation as an "natural disaster" and calling on the local leader to visit and "take control the effort that officials must be making".
